Husband died in 1913. ‘She and her late husband (Dr. von Stieglitz) were on visiting terms with the German Consul and a few others, but did not make any intimate friends of any of them… The Attorney-General of Victoria, Mr. Lawson, has known her for the past 16 years.’ (from Memorandum, Foemander, 14/12/16).
