Letters attached showing Salma was given naturalisation in 1905, but later it was discovered she was a Syrian by nationality and this was revoked (unclear how and revocation - only case?). In 1912, she is asking for a copy of her certificate, saying that she has lost the first one, and this is denied.
Husband did not emigrate with her, nor two sons (resident in Damascus).
She does not know the name of her ship, but says it is an "English ship".
She also addresses correspondence via Mr.J. P. Abdullah in Nelson.
Mary Aboud – same solicitors did applications (Illiterate)
