p.6: A letter written on headed paper for 'Charters Towers Miners' Accident Association' (crossed out) states that she has moved from Deary Creek, Charters Towers, to Raly Ridge, last December [1908] and needs her certificate forwarded on. Her original submission was in October 1908, and the certificate was sent to her old address in January 1909, so lots of letters sent out from the DEA wondered why the original was never collected, before this letter asking for it to be forwarded, dated 28 April 1909.
She can sign her name but clearly the forms are filled in for her, so her literacy is probably limited to her name.
