Police Report, Sutherland Police, 24 Sept 1914, p.5: she thinks her husband has become naturalised, but separated because ‘of his peculiar disposition and temperament and by mutual agreement.’ She ‘of good character and nothing can be said against her in any way’. No enquiry into that suggestion of husband being naturalised
