79. B in England, 1838. In a poor financial position and poor health. Widow. husband was naturalised in USA, but she didn’t know. He was born German. Her appl dealt with by G. Dillon, Estate, Insurance, and Liquidators’ Agent, Valuator. Whole thing delayed because she’d originally written that she was German and had renounced German nationality, but eventually they work out husband’s naturalisation makes her American so she is eligible to apply. Approved 27 Feb 1918. See Police Report, p.26 (re: deserted and hard work to support family, wanting to sell property now).
