in 1942 returns the signed statutory declaration form. originally naturalised in 1917. Denmark. Seems to be because she got naturalised under her maiden name, and had largely hidden the fact that she was married but separated, so probably should have used married name, and is worried this will be seen as a lie. Clear that the start of the new war has made her want to have her naturalisation docs but they were lost. Actually not the name that has changed, just the Miss changed to Mrs. After separation from hubby, went to England but too ‘conservative’ there so changed to ‘Miss’ and went to Australia to make a living.
