Hunt to W EE Pearcey, Solicitor, Melbourne, 28 Nov 1917: Minister looked at case ‘but cannot see his way to recommend its approval at the present time owing to the decision of Cabinet that all applications from persons of enemy origin for naturalization should be deferred.’ She is applying because of problems with land transfer – he suggest she appeal to the State authorities.
