Adele does not know the day or month of her arrival in Australia.
Her ship is probably the "Louise" not the"Louisia". The ship is a barque 229 / 250 tons, Captain Geelts, from Hamburg, 1848, arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia 23rd March 1849. Note Adele gives the Captains name as "Gates" but the "Ship's List" gives it as "Geelts". The barque has ten cabin passengers and one hundred and one German emigrants.
Letters attached concerning the fact she failed to sign a form, and one from a Political Union - "S.A. Council Farmers' and Producers' Political Unions" mentioning she has received her certificate.
