The front page of the National Archive bundle puts this person's name as "Johane Christiani Koenig", however, I think the name is definitely "Johane Christiane Koenig" with no "i" at the end of "Christian".
Johane puts her birth place as "Gerlitz" in Prussia, but the only village I can find in Prussia is "Gorlitz".
She does not know her day or month of arrival in Australia, only her year of arrival, so I have put 01/01/1876.
She puts her ship as "Otale?", so it may not be correct, and I couldn't find a ship with this name.
Her certificate was returned to the "Dead Letter Office", and she has to write saying it should have been sent to "Mrs" not "Mr". Evidence that they think a farmer had to be a man?
There is also a few scribbled notes dated 1920 asking for details of her naturalisation - not sure what this is about.
