Christine does not know the day or month of her arrival, only the year, so I have put 01/01/1856.
Cannot find her ship, as the word William is usually used as part of the name, eg William Hammond, and there are many of these.
Letters regarding her naturalisation are attached - a police magistrate querying her naturalisation as he understands she is naturalised because of her living husband's naturalisation certificate. The answer this is so in the State of Victoria, but if she wishes to go elsewhere she would need to gain a certificate in her own right. However, she wishes to become a subject of the Commonwealth, so her application still goes ahead.
