Further comments

Caroline does not know the day of her arrival, although she knows the month and year, so I have put 01.

Found the Hohenzollern made a journey to Australia in 1889, leaving Bremen on 3 September and arriving on 2 October 1889 at Largs Bay close to Adelaide. The ship was an Iron Screw Steam Brig, 400 hp., built in 1873 in Hull. Tonnage was 3,092g 2,107n, built by Earles Shipbuilding Co. Its dimensions 353.0 x 39.1 x 32.0, and if was registered in Bremen.
