Other information | Platz to Home and Territories Dept, 23 January 1926: wants copy of husband's naturalisation paper so she can claim old age pension. Now a widow 'and have to prove that I am a naturalised British subject.' Quinland to Platz, 2 August 1926: Queensland has those records. End of file. Husband's name Valentine Platz (nat in 1873 of 1874). |
29/8/1916, Hunt to Platz: was husband nat?
2/9/16, Platz to Hunt: yes in Toowoomba, 16 Dec 1873 (of German origin).
Hunt to Platz, 8 Sept 1916: a possible typo, with him saying 'there will be necessesity' to be naturalised 'as the naturalization of your husband in Queensland extends to you.' After she queries this, Atlee corrects himself on 19 Sept 1916, claiming 'owing to a clerical error' - she is naturalised already.
