earlier Dibbs & Farrell letter, 7 July 1915: describe her as 'an old and valued client'; they want a form for her 'before the Police Magistrate on his next visit to Temora, which will be on Tuesday, the 13th inst.'

Police Report, Sergeant to Inspector General of Police [unusually typed], 5 August 1915: 'lives in a locality where the majority of the Farmers are Germans, and is therefore associated with them... Husband... is a German - but many years ago became naturalized-but as he is failing in health, it is the desire of Applicant to become Naturalized to save a considerable amount of legal formalities in administering to his Estate, as she is the appointed executrix to her Husbands Will.' Points out now 67, and lived in COmmonwealth for 61 years. 'so far as known (Mrs.) Ernstine Pauline Mangelsdorf is of good character.'
