Mary does not know her day or month of arrival and puts "about" before the year of 1847 - however, I find two pieces of evidence that the ship (which was called the George Washington) arrived on 22/01/1846 not in 1847, so have inserted her arrival as this date.
She includes a letter asking for her naturalisation, but doesn't say why she wants it.
