n 1855 it was on its second voyage from Hamburg to Australia - - Departed 10 May 1855 from Hamburg, Hamburgh Friestadt, Deutschland (Germany), arrived 26 August 1855 Hobart-Town, Van Diemens Land (later Tasmania), Australia (mid September). Not sure what this says of her date of arriva - she does says she arrived "around" this date, so it is probably incorrect. She states her "first husband" died on the ship coming out - his names was Hans Jerck, Haiser. Was she married at 16 or 17years of age?
